eBike vs traditional bike comparison

I've been pondering something lately as I look at potentially converting my old mountain bike into an eBike, and it got me thinking about the fundamental differences. For those of you who own both a traditional bike and an eBike, especially if you've done a DIY conversion, what are the biggest pros and cons you've experienced in terms of maintenance, upgrades, and just the overall riding feel?
