eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone,

Been thinking a lot lately about how eBikes stack up against traditional bikes, especially when it comes to the DIY and modification side of things. I've got a road bike I love to tinker with, but I'm also eyeing an eMTB for some gnarlier trails.

My main question is: do you find yourselves doing different types of modifications or DIY projects on your eBike compared to your traditional bike? For example, are you more focused on battery upgrades or motor tuning on an eBike, versus pure component swaps on a regular bike? Or maybe it's all about range extenders for those long, hilly rides?
