eBike vs traditional bike comparison
Hey everyone!
Been thinking a lot lately about how eBikes stack up against traditional bikes, especially for different types of riding. I recently took my eMTB (a Specialized Levo) on a 20-mile trail ride with a friend on his analog hardtail, and while I definitely had an easier time on the climbs, he was flying on the descents.
It got me wondering: for those of you who own both or have experience with both, where do you really see the biggest advantages and disadvantages in terms of brand-specific performance? Like, does a premium eBike brand's motor system truly outshine a high-end traditional drivetrain for certain terrain or distances? Or is it more about the rider and the specific bike's geometry?
Curious to hear your thoughts and experiences!
