I just picked up a new fat tire eBike (loving it for exploring some local trails and even the beach!) and I'm really curious about the tech behind these beasts. Specifically, I'm wondering about the differences in motor types – hub vs. mid-drive – and how they perform on varied terrain, especially with those big tires. What are your experiences, and what tech features do you find most crucial for fat tire riding?
