New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm totally new to the eBike world and have been doing a ton of research, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming! I'm really interested in getting a cargo eBike as a potential car replacement for errands, grocery runs, and maybe even taking my dog to the park (he's about 40lbs). For those of you with cargo eBikes, what did you wish you knew when you first started out, especially regarding things like motor type, battery range for hilly areas, or essential accessories? Any advice for a newbie looking to haul stuff around town?
