New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm super stoked to finally be diving into the eMTB world, but honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options out there. I've been riding traditional mountain bikes for years on local singletrack (think 10-15 mile loops with some decent climbs), and I'm ready to add some electric assist to tackle bigger adventures. For those of you who've been riding eMTBs for a while, what's the single most important piece of advice you'd give a newbie like me when it comes to choosing their first bike or getting started? Any specific features or brands I should be looking at for trail riding?
