Engwe Engine Pro Review: Tall Rider Perspective (6'3")

At 6'3", finding comfortable eBikes is challenging. Here's how the Engwe Engine Pro fits.

Size & Fit

Frame size: One size (designed for 5'5" - 6'5") My height: 6'3" Verdict: Surprisingly comfortable with adjustments

Adjustments Needed

Seat post: Raised to maximum height - perfect Handlebars: Stock position works, but I added a stem riser for more upright posture Standover height: Plenty of clearance

Size & Fit

Adjustments Needed

Seat post: Raised to maximum height - perfect Handlebars: Stock position works, but I added a stem riser for more upright posture Standover height: Plenty of clearance

Ride Comfort

Leg extension: Good pedaling position with seat fully raised Reach: Comfortable with stem riser ($25 upgrade) Overall: Feels like a bike designed for my height

Performance Impact

Weight distribution: No issues with handling Suspension: Works great for my 210lb frame Power: Motor has no problem with my weight and height

Comparison to Other Bikes

Most budget eBikes feel cramped at my height. The Engwe Engine Pro is one of the few under $2,000 that fits tall riders properly.

Bottom Line

If you're 6'0" - 6'5", the Engwe Engine Pro fits well with minimal adjustments. Taller than 6'5"? You might need a custom frame.

As a tall rider, this bike exceeded my expectations.
