eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

Been thinking a lot lately about the eBike vs. traditional bike debate, especially as I see more and more eBikes out on the trails. I've got a traditional mountain bike that I love for those tough climbs, but sometimes I wonder if an eMTB would open up even more terrain or longer rides without completely gassing me. For those of you who've ridden both extensively, what's your take? Do you find yourself reaching for one over the other for specific types of rides (e.g., commuting, long-distance touring, technical singletrack)? I'm particularly curious about how it changes your perception of distance and effort.
