New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum – super excited to dive into the eBike world! I've been doing some research because I'm looking to get my first eBike, mainly for commuting about 10 miles each way on mostly paved paths, but I'd love to explore some light gravel trails on weekends too. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there, especially when it comes to brands.

For those of you who've been around the block, what brands did you consider when you were first starting out, and what ultimately swayed your decision? Are there any brands that offer a good balance of reliability, features, and value for a beginner like me, perhaps in the hybrid or commuter category? Any insights or personal experiences would be awesome!
