Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot lately about eBike regulations, especially with more and more people getting into riding. I've got a Class 1 commuter eBike that I use daily on bike paths and city streets, and I sometimes wonder if other riders are even aware of the rules, like speed limits on certain trails or where different classes are allowed.

It got me thinking about safety – do you guys feel like the current regulations in your area are doing a good job of keeping everyone safe, or are they confusing/insufficient? I'm particularly curious about how different states or countries handle things like speed limits, helmet laws, and age restrictions. What's your experience been like?
