Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone!

Just got my first eBike, a Class 1 commuter, and I'm super excited to hit some trails and explore. As a newbie, I'm trying to get my head around all the legal stuff – Class 1, 2, 3, speed limits, where you can ride... it's a bit of a maze! What are the biggest regulatory surprises or challenges you've encountered in your area, and what's one key piece of advice you'd give a new rider about staying on the right side of the law? I'm especially curious about multi-use paths.
