Safety tips for urban commuting

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to kick off a discussion about urban eBike safety. I've been commuting on my Class 1 eMTB about 10 miles each way through downtown traffic and some bike lanes, and while it's mostly great, I've had a few close calls with distracted drivers. What are your absolute must-have safety tips or gear for navigating city streets? I'm always looking for ways to be more visible and predictable.
