New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to finally be joining the eBike community. I just picked up my first eBike – a commuter-style hybrid, and I'm planning to use it for my 10-mile round trip commute, mostly on paved paths with a few small hills.

I'm totally new to this, and while I'm loving the assist, I'm wondering what are the absolute must-know troubleshooting tips for a beginner? What common issues should I be aware of, or what should I be checking regularly to prevent problems down the line? Any advice on basic maintenance or things that often trip up new riders would be awesome!
