Tips for winter commuting

Winter is fast approaching here in the Northern Hemisphere, and I'm already starting to think about my daily eBike commute. I ride my Class 1 eMTB about 8 miles each way, a mix of paved paths and some slightly rougher gravel sections. Last year, I struggled a bit with cold hands and keeping my battery happy in the chill.

What are your go-to tips and tricks for winter eBike commuting? Any must-have gear for staying warm and safe, or specific maintenance advice for the colder months? I'm particularly interested in battery care in the cold!
