Best eBike for daily commuting?

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to finally make the jump to an eBike for my daily commute and could really use some collective wisdom. My ride is about 10 miles each way, mostly paved roads with a few decent hills, and I'll need to carry a backpack with my laptop and lunch. I'm torn between a traditional commuter style, maybe a hybrid, or even a compact folding one for easier storage.

What are your go-to eBikes for daily commuting, and what features do you find absolutely essential for reliability and comfort on a regular basis? Any specific models or types you'd recommend checking out for this kind of use?
