eBike technology explained

Just got back from a fantastic 15-mile ride on my new Lectric XP 3.0, mostly urban with a few hills, and it got me thinking. With folding eBikes becoming so popular, especially for commuters or those with limited space, what are some of the key tech differences we see in their motor/battery/controller setups compared to full-size eBikes? Are there specific innovations that make them so compact and powerful, or is it mostly just component miniaturization? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
