Common eBike problems and solutions

Hey everyone!

Just got back from a fantastic 30-mile ride on my hardtail eMTB, mostly on some local gravel paths and a few paved sections. It got me thinking about how reliable these machines generally are, but also about those little quirks or bigger headaches we sometimes encounter.

What are some of the most common eBike problems you've faced, whether it's with the motor, battery, or even just general wear and tear unique to eBikes? More importantly, what clever solutions or DIY fixes have you discovered along the way? I'm curious to hear what's out there!
