New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm totally new to the eBike world and have been doing a ton of research, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming! I'm really interested in a folding eBike because I live in a small apartment and need something I can easily store and take on public transport for my commute (about 5 miles each way, mostly flat city streets). For those of you with folding eBikes, what are the absolute must-have features or brands I should be looking at first? Any advice for a newbie trying to navigate this space would be awesome!
