New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just picked up my first eBike – a commuter-style step-through for getting around town and some light trail riding, maybe 10-15 miles at a time. I'm super excited, but as a newbie, safety is definitely on my mind. Beyond the obvious helmet, what are some of the less common but crucial safety tips or accessories you experienced riders swear by for someone just starting out? I'm particularly interested in things that might be different compared to a regular bike. Thanks in advance!
