I've been riding my full-suspension eMTB, a Specialized Levo, on some pretty gnarly trails lately – think steep climbs and rocky descents in the local state park. It got me thinking about all the tech packed into these machines. Specifically, I'm curious about the different motor types (hub vs. mid-drive) and how they impact torque and battery efficiency on technical climbs. What are your thoughts on the best motor placement for true mountain biking, and what tech do you find most crucial for tackling tough terrain?
