New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone,

Just joined the forum and super excited to finally dive into the eBike world! I've been eyeing them for a while, mostly thinking about commuting ~10 miles each way on some hilly suburban roads, plus weekend trail rides on light gravel paths. For those of you who've been through it, what's the absolute first thing I should consider when looking at models, or even just general eBike knowledge? It feels like there's so much to learn!
