eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into the eBike world. I've been eyeing a commuter eBike for my 15-mile round trip to work, which has a few decent hills, and I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the different tech out there. Can someone break down the core differences between hub motors vs. mid-drives, and what kind of battery capacity (Wh) I should realistically be looking for to handle that kind of daily commute without range anxiety? Any insights would be awesome!
