Safety tips for urban commuting

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to start a discussion about urban eBike commuting safety. I've been riding my Class 1 eMTB about 8 miles each way through downtown traffic and some bike paths, and it's definitely a different beast than my old analog bike.

What are your absolute must-have safety tips or gear for navigating busy city streets on an eBike? I'm always looking for ways to be more visible and secure. Any specific lights, mirrors, or riding strategies you swear by?
