New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and I'm super excited about potentially getting into eBikes. I've been doing some research, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming with all the different types and features out there. I'm looking for something primarily for commuting about 10-15 miles round trip daily, mostly paved roads but with a few decent hills. For those of you who've been through this, what was your biggest "aha!" moment or the best piece of advice you got when you were first starting out? Any specific bike types or brands I should be looking at for my use case?
