New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

I'm totally new to the eBike world and have been doing some research, but it's a bit overwhelming! I'm really interested in a folding eBike because I live in a small apartment and need something portable for commuting a few miles to work, plus some light weekend trail riding. For those of you with folding eBikes, what are the absolute must-have features or brands I should be looking at first? Any advice on what to avoid or common pitfalls for a newbie would be amazing!
