Common eBike problems and solutions

Hey everyone!

Been riding my Aventon Level.2 commuter for about 6 months now, racking up around 1000 miles on mixed city streets and some light gravel paths. Overall, it's been fantastic, but I've definitely run into a few minor quirks, like occasional brake rub after a long ride or a finicky display connection.

It got me thinking: what are some of the most common eBike problems you all have encountered, and more importantly, what clever solutions or DIY fixes have you come up with? I'm particularly interested in hearing about issues with different bike types – maybe hub motors vs. mid-drives, or specific brands. Let's share some wisdom!
