Battery range for long commutes

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot about battery range lately, especially as I'm considering an eBike for my daily commute. It's about 25 miles each way, with some decent hills involved, and I'm looking at a Class 1 eMTB for comfort. For those of you with longer commutes, how much battery capacity (Wh) do you find is genuinely comfortable for a round trip without range anxiety, or even for two days between charges? Do you factor in colder weather or cargo weight?
