eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I've been loving my Aventon Pace 500.3 for my daily commute (about 10 miles round trip, mostly flat with a few inclines), and it got me thinking about all the tech packed into these bikes. Specifically, I'm curious about the different motor types – hub vs. mid-drive – and what makes one better for certain riding styles or terrains. What are your thoughts on the pros and cons of each, especially within the Aventon lineup? I'd love to hear some "eBike technology explained" insights from you all!
