New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone,

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into the world of eMTBs! I've been riding traditional mountain bikes for years, mostly trail riding and some light enduro stuff, but I'm really curious about adding an electric assist to extend my range and climb some of those gnarlier hills I usually dread.

For those of you who've made the switch or started with eMTBs, what's the biggest piece of advice you'd give a newbie? Are there specific features or motor types I should prioritize for technical singletrack and longer rides (say, 20-30 miles)? Any brands or models that really stand out for reliability and performance on tough terrain?
