eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the maintenance differences between my old acoustic road bike and my new eMTB. While the e-bike is a blast on the trails, I'm finding myself wondering about the long-term costs and complexity of keeping the motor and battery healthy compared to just lubing a chain and adjusting brakes on a traditional bike.

For those of you who own both, what's been your experience with maintenance and repair? Are e-bikes significantly more expensive or complicated to keep running smoothly, or is it not as big of a deal as I'm imagining? Curious to hear your thoughts!
