Legal regulations for eBikes

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to figure out some of the legal aspects of eBikes and it's getting a bit confusing, especially with different state/local laws. I've got a Class 3 eMTB and I'm planning some longer rides that might cross state lines, hitting both paved trails and some fire roads. My main question is: has anyone run into issues with trail access or speed limits for their eBike, particularly when traveling between different states or even just counties? It feels like a minefield trying to keep up with what's allowed where!
