eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

Just got my first eBike – a commuter-style Aventon Pace 500.3 – and I'm absolutely loving the boost, especially on those uphill climbs to work! It got me thinking, for those of us new to the eBike world, what's one piece of eBike technology you found most confusing or fascinating when you were getting started? I'm trying to wrap my head around the differences between torque sensors and cadence sensors, and which is "better" for different riding styles. Would love to hear your insights!
