New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just picked up my first eBike – a mid-drive commuter model – and I'm super excited to get out there. I've been doing some short 5-10 mile rides on paved paths, and it's been a blast so far. My main question is, for a newbie like me, what are the most common "gotchas" or troubleshooting tips I should know about before they become a problem? Any advice on things to regularly check or look out for to keep my ride smooth?
