eBike vs traditional bike comparison

Hey everyone!

I've been thinking a lot lately about how eBikes compare to traditional bikes, especially when it comes to safety. My daily commute is about 10 miles through urban areas with some decent hills, and I've noticed a big difference in how I feel on my eMTB compared to my old road bike.

Specifically, I'm curious about braking and handling at higher speeds. Do you feel safer (or less safe) on your eBike due to the added weight and potential for higher speeds, or do the better brakes and often more robust frames make up for it? What are your thoughts on eBike safety in traffic versus a traditional bike?
