Weather-resistant gear for commuters

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to start a discussion about weather-resistant gear for our daily eBike commutes. My ride to work is about 8 miles each way, mostly paved bike paths and some city streets, on my hybrid eBike. Lately, the weather has been super unpredictable – sunshine one minute, then a sudden downpour the next!

I'm currently using a pretty basic rain jacket, but my pants and shoes often get soaked, which isn't ideal for starting the workday. What are your go-to recommendations for truly waterproof (or at least highly water-resistant) pants, shoe covers, or even full-body suits that are still breathable enough for an eBike ride? Any specific brands or features you swear by?
