eBike vs traditional bike comparison

I've been thinking a lot about the differences in maintenance between my old analog road bike and my new eMTB, especially after a muddy weekend ride. It feels like my eBike's chain and brakes are taking a much harder beating due to the extra power and weight, even on similar trails. Are you finding that eBikes generally require more frequent or different types of maintenance compared to traditional bikes, particularly for components like drivetrains and brake pads? I'm curious if this is just my perception or a common experience.
