New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to finally be joining the eBike world, just picked up a commuter-style eBike for my 10-mile round trip to work, mostly on city streets and bike paths. I'm totally new to this, and while I'm thrilled about the speed boost, I'm also a bit nervous about safety, especially with traffic. What are the absolute must-have safety accessories or habits you'd recommend for a newbie like me? I'm thinking beyond just a helmet, maybe something about visibility or defensive riding tips?
