eBike technology explained

Hey everyone!

I've been riding my new eMTB, a full-suspension Haibike, on some pretty gnarly trails lately, and it got me thinking about the tech behind our bikes and safety. Specifically, with all the power and speed eBikes offer, how much do you guys trust the safety features built into the tech itself? Like, beyond just good brakes, what about battery management systems preventing overheating, or motor cut-offs when you hit the brakes?

Are there any specific technologies you look for or avoid when considering a new eBike for safety reasons? I'm curious to hear your thoughts and experiences!
