New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone!

Just joined the forum and super excited to dive into the eBike world! I've been eyeing them for a while now, thinking it'd be awesome for my 10-mile commute (mostly paved, but some hilly sections) and weekend trail rides. My main question is, for someone completely new, where do you even begin with choosing a bike? There are so many types – fat tire, commuter, mountain – and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed! Any tips on what to look for first, or what you wish you knew when you started?
