New to eBikes - where to start?

Hey everyone,

Just joined the forum and I'm super excited about potentially getting into eBikes! I've been doing some research, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming with all the different motor types, battery sizes, and bike styles out there. I'm looking for something mainly for commuting about 10 miles each way on paved roads, maybe some light gravel trails on weekends. For those of you who've been through this, what was the absolute best piece of advice you got when you were first starting out, or what do you wish you'd known?
