Tips for winter commuting

Hey everyone!

With the days getting shorter and the temps dropping, I'm already starting to think about winter commuting on my eBike. I ride a Specialized Vado SL about 10 miles each way, mostly paved paths but some unplowed sections can get dicey. What are your absolute must-have tips for staying safe and relatively comfortable during those colder, darker rides? Anything from gear to bike maintenance is welcome!
