eBike vs traditional bike comparison

I've been mulling over something and wanted to get your thoughts, especially those of you who've ridden both extensively. I'm trying to "troubleshoot" my next bike purchase, and the big question is eBike vs. traditional. For those of you who've made the switch or regularly ride both, what are some of the unexpected "troubles" or maintenance differences you've encountered with an eBike compared to a traditional one, especially on longer rides or varied terrain (like hilly commutes)? I'm thinking beyond just battery life – more like component wear, specific repairs, or even just the logistics of owning one.
