Starting a mid-drive conversion build — documenting the whole process

I have been wanting to do a proper mid-drive conversion for about two years and I am finally pulling the trigger. Starting with a 2019 Trek Marlin 7 hardtail that has been sitting in my garage. Planned components: Bafang BBS02B 750W mid-drive motor, 52V 14Ah shark pack battery, Lekkie Bling Ring 42T chainring, keeping the stock SRAM drivetrain for now. I will be documenting every step here. If you have done a Bafang build before, I would love any tips on things you wish you had known going in.
