Added a 52V battery to my Lectric XP — here is what happened

I know this voids the warranty and I am not recommending anyone do this without knowing what they are getting into. But I have been running a 52V 17.5Ah aftermarket battery on my Lectric XP 3.0 for about 6 weeks now and wanted to share the results. Short version: it works, the range improvement is real — about 35% more in my testing — and the motor handles it fine. The BMS on the stock controller is the limiting factor, not the motor.
